How to Download YouTube Songs to a PSP

Sony&'s PSP, also known as a PlayStation Portable, is a hand-held gaming device with graphics and game play similar to full-sized gaming consoles, such as the PS3. Though the PSP is primarily a gaming device, it can play MP3 music files as well. Users can download and add MP3 music and audio files that have been downloaded from YouTube to their PSP using a few simple tools.

      Locate the YouTube video you would like to download. Copy its URL address by highlighting the address, then right-clicking on it and selecting "Copy."

      Navigate to the website Video2MP3.net. Paste the video&'s URL into the text field titled "Video URL," then select the radio button next to either the "Standard Quality" or "High Quality" option. Press the "Convert" button when finished. The song will automatically be converted and downloaded to your computer.

      Insert a Sony Memory Stick Pro or Memory Stick Pro Duo card into the card slot on your PSP.

      Connect your PSP to the computer using a PSP USB cable. Open the Memory Stick Pro folder in "My Computer" by navigating to "Start," then "My Computer," if it doesn&'t automatically launch.

      Right-click on the downloaded music file and choose "Copy" from the menu. Right-click inside the Memory Stick folder and choose "Paste" from the menu.

      Disconnect the PSP from the computer by removing the cable. Navigate through the PSP menu to the Memory Stick folder and select the song to play.
