How to make Dual Swords with Monster Hunter Freedom 2

“Monster Hunter Freedom 2” is an action RPG game for the PSP handheld system. In this game, you explore a fantasy world as a monster hunter who must use the resources of the world to shape better weapons and armor. One type of weapon you can create is known as the Dual Swords. You can wield two blades, one in each hand, that allow you to defeat monsters using very fast combo attacks. You can create your first set of Dual Swords at any level.

Instructions

  Speak to the blacksmith in Pokke Village.

  Choose to create or upgrade a weapon. If you have the weapon “Hunter’s Dagger +” you can upgrade it to the first set of Dual Swords. You can also create a set of Dual Swords from resources rather than upgrading your weapon.

  Choose “Dual Swords” from the weapon list. This will open up a new menu that shows you more information about the types of Dual Swords that are currently available to make. If you are just beginning, you may only be able to create the “Twin Dagger.”

  Review the list of resources you will need to create your weapon. For example, to create the “Twin Dagger” you will need two “Malachite Ore,” five “Iron Ore” and two “Earth Crystals.” To upgrade from the “Hunter’s Dagger +” you will need your current weapon along with one “Malachite Ore” and one “Disc Stone.”

  Adventure or go on hunting quests outside of the village to obtain resources required to create your Dual Swords. The ore, crystals and stone can all be found by mining nodes with a mining pick while adventuring.

  Return to the blacksmith with all of the items required and choose “Dual Swords” from the weapon list. You will now be able to upgrade an old weapon or create a brand new set of Dual Swords from the resources that you gathered.
