How to Use a USB PS3 Controller on a PSP

The PSP (PlayStation Portable) is a handheld system that is operated with a small analog stick and directional pad. You can actually play games on it using the PS3&'s Dual Shock controller.

      Connect your PS3 controller to the console.

      Connect your PSP to the PS3 system using the compatible USB cable.

      Turn on your PSP and scroll to the left using the directional pad until you reach the "Settings" menu. Scroll down and press "X" over "Bluetooth Device Settings."

      Press the "X" button over "Manage Bluetooth Devices." Select "Yes," then "Register New Device."

      Press "X" over the "Register a PS3 System Controller" option. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration and sync the PS3 controller to the PSP.
