How to Catch the Cockatrice in Rabanastre in Final Fantasy 12

"Final Fantasy XII" is a role-playing game for the PlayStation 2 developed by Square Enix and released in 2006. In it, you play as a young adventurer named Vaan and must lead a resistance against the two warring kingdoms of Archadia and Rozarria. During one of your adventures, you must catch a cockatrice--a bulbous chicken-like creature--in the streets of the city of Rabanastre.

Instructions

- 1
  Approach Renn, the cockatrice, in the North End of Rabanastre. Press "X" to speak with him. He'll immediately break into a run.

  Chase Renn through the streets of Rabanastre. He runs away from you if you approach him from behind. If he sees you in front of him, he'll turn tail and dash away.
- 3
  Get in front of where Renn is heading and hide behind one of the many pillars lining the North End of Rabanastre. Angle your camera so that you can see Renn approaching slowly. When he is near, run out in front of him and touch him.
- 4
  Say "Erm... No?" when Renn asks if you're ruffling his feathers.
