How to Obtain Sonic Blades in Kingdom Hearts

"Sonic Blade" is a powerful attack in "Kingdom Hearts," and it's well worth the effort it takes to have this ability in your arsenal. It uses a successive amount of thrusting attacks, and each attack is executed by choosing the proper command. A menu will pop up once the attack is initially engaged. Choosing the correct command will start a chain of increasingly powerful attacks.

Instructions

  Go to Olympus Coliseum after visiting Wonderland or Deep Jungle. Talk with Phil to have him train you, and start by pushing the large block in the room. It will be too heavy for Sora. A cutscene will show the trio convincing Phil that Sora is a hero, and he will agree to train you further.

  Start your training by breaking the barrels within the time limit. You'll need to break 20 barrels within 30 seconds in the first round. When you reach the second round, you'll have to break 25 barrels within one minute. Break the barrels on top and work your way down.

  Speak to Phil. He will refuse to let you enter the games. Go outside and speak to Hades to obtain the "Entry Pass."

  Show the "Entry Pass" to Phil to enter the games. You'll fight seven rounds, and your final round will be with Cloud. It's best to be at level 15 or higher when you fight him. Attack him from the side, not head-on. Save your game after the tournament.

  Go back to the arena to fight Cerberus. Equip "Dodge Roll" and attack one head at a time. Let Donald and Goofy get in front of you, and jump out of the way when Cerberus leaps and pounds on the ground. You'll have to avoid a shockwave. Use "Dodge Roll" to avoid the dark energy that appears out of the ground, and then attack the heads again. Once Cerberus is defeated, a cutscene will play and you'll obtain the "Sonic Blade" attack.
