Play the game until you level up and receive the "Guard" ability. This ability is essential to killing the Ice Titan, but the level you receive it depends on what dream weapon you chose at the start of the game. Depending on your choice, you will receive "Guard" at level nine, twenty four or thirty six.
Run around the arena while dodging the ice pillars that shoot up from the floor. If you stand still, you will take damage as the ice pillars appear underneath you, so keep moving.
Use the "Guard" ability as soon as the Ice Titan hurls a set of ice shards at you. With the correct timing, the shard will deflect off of you and shoot back at the Titan.
Keep deflecting the ice shards until the screen flashes white and the Titan drops down to one knee. This is your cue that the Titan is now vulnerable to attack. Move in closer and focus all your attacks on the Titan's head to do damage.
Move away from the Titan as soon as it starts to get up again. It will resume its attacks on you so repeat the process of dodging the ice pillars and deflecting the shards. After a while, it will become vulnerable again as it drops to its knee so move in again for the attack.
Jump over the ice patches that the Titan creates on the arena floor as these will cause you to slip. Dodge the large ice balls that fall from the sky as these can do major damage to your character. If you get hit too many times, cast the "Heal" spell on your character to keep him in the battle. You will know you are close to victory when the Titan starts using a freeze attack that stuns your character if it connects. Keep moving to avoid getting hit and keep deflecting those ice shards to weaken the Titan.
Keep repeating the process until the Ice Titan shrinks down and you have defeated it.
