If you cannot find games that match your system's region code in an overseas country, ordering them online and shipping them to your current address is a good backup plan. You will be able to find a variety of games that match your system's region by visiting stores based in the area that your region code covers.

  Refrain from buying new PS2 games overseas unless they match your system's region code. Though there may seem to be little difference between foreign versions of PS2 games and the ones local to your country, they will not function correctly on your system unless they match the region number.
