Help: Green Power Turns On But Blue Won't in PS2

The Sony PlayStation 2 was first released in 2000. Unlike other video game consoles, there are two steps to turning on the PlayStation 2. This can be especially confusing if you have never had a video game console before. When you first turn on the console, a green light will show, but the blue one will not show unless the console is properly turned on all the way.

     Flip the switch behind the PlayStation 2. Wait for the green light to appear.

     Locate the "Reset" button on the front of the console. This is the button that displays the light.

     Press the button. The green light will become blue, indicating the console is now on.
