How to Get a Custom Guitar Hero Game to Work on the PS2

For some time, the PlayStation 2 by Sony has been known as a modifiable gaming console. This is true to the extent that players can play imported games and custom games, such as a custom "Guitar Hero." A PlayStation 2 will not run the game by default. However, with a little assistance, you can run your custom "Guitar Hero" game or any other backup games.

Instructions

  Press the "Eject" button and put the Swap Magic disc onto the tray. Press the "Eject" button again to close the tray. Wait for the Swap Magic screen to appear on your television, which prompts you when to open the tray and switch discs.

  Slide the tool beneath the disc drive until you feel it hook. Pull the tool back slowly to open the tray. Do not press the "Eject" button to open the tray; it will disrupt the process.

  Replace the Swap Magic disc with your custom "Guitar Hero" game while the tray is still open. Push the tray closed with the tool.

  Press "X" on your controller to load the disc.
