How to Play the Speed Racer Mach 5 TV Video Game

The "Speed Racer" video game is based on the "Speed Racer" movie starring Emile Hirsch as Speed, John Goodman as Pops Racer and Susan Sarandon as Mom Racer. In the game, players can drive the Mach 5 racing car on futuristic racing tracks. While racing the high-performance machine, you can perform multiple tricks as well.

Instructions

    • 1

      Steer the car using the left analog stick. Moving the stick to the left turns the car to the left. Moving it to the right makes the car turn to the right.

      Accelerate with the "R2" button. Brake and go in reverse with "R1."

      Look behind you by pressing the "Triangle" key.

    • 4

      Perform tricks. Move the right analog stick up to perform a front flip, down to perform a back flip and tail toss and left or right to perform a side jump and barrel roll.
