How to Get to Area 51 in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the PS2

Area 69, the equivalent to the famous, real-life Area 51, is an area in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" that is heavily guarded with military men and secrets. Normally, getting into the area proves to be challenging. However, by accessing a secret area, you can gain access to Area 69 easier than normal. Once inside, you will uncover the secrets of the military base and be able to explore every corner of it.

  Jump on a freeway bike, and open your map by pressing "Start" on your controller.

  Find an area on the map entitled "Restricted Area." This is Area 69.

  Mark it as a hotspot by pressing "X," and the map on the bottom left of your screen will guide you to the area. Once marked, drive to Area 69.

  Drive through the main gate, and find a large dirt mound. It is next to a barracks and is in front of a guard tower.

  Drive up the dirt mound, and find a vent.

  Drive very close to the vent, and get off of the bike by pressing "Triangle." The trick is to get so close to the vent that when you get off of your bike you will cause a glitch that will make you go through the vent into Area 69.

  Walk down the flight of stairs, killing anyone that gets in your way.

  Walk to the first hallway on your left, and go up another set of stairs.

  Turn left once you enter a room that looks similar to a garage, and you will see a vent. Destroy it by using any weapon you have in your inventory.

  Jump inside the vent by pressing "Square," and run forward while staying to the left of the wall. You will now exit Area 69 and can enter and go as you please.
