How to Give Energy to Other Band Members in Rock Band on the PS2

Watch for a cluster of white notes to appear while you are playing the game. These notes show that your opportunity to get Overdrive is near.

Play all of the white notes without mistake. This will fill a yellow bar under your note chart, whereby a half-full bar is required to activate Overdrive. The fuller the bar, the higher your point multiplier becomes when you activate it.

Tilt your Rock Band instrument if you are playing either guitar or bass, in order to activate Overdrive. This will instantly boost energy for every other member of the band and will give you a point bonus. You can continue to fill your Overdrive bar even while using it, if you don't miss a beat.

Hit the green note with the drums to activate Overdrive. Once you hit the note a blank section will show up for you to do random drumming. The more you use the drums, the more points add up, so get as many drum beats in as possible.

Sing loudly when a green bar comes across the vocal screen to activate Overdrive. Once activated, sing your own lyrics, and keep them coming to keep adding up points and energy. This is your opportunity to show your stuff.
