How Can I Split an ISO PS2 Game into Two Discs?

The PS2 is a sixth-generation gaming console that offers a DVD/CD drive, online gaming, a variety of game types to choose from and multiplayer support. When transferring ISO games to a PS2 you can come across files too large for the discs to hold based on the PS2 limitations. With an ISO editing software application, you can split the ISO PS2 file so that you can trim its size and save it to a disc.

Instructions

    • 1

Download an ISO copying and editing software application to the computer (see Resources). Follow all prompts to complete the installation. Reboot the computer if necessary.

    • 2

Launch the ISO software application. Click on "File" or "Open" to browse for the ISO PS2 game you wish to split. Select the ISO PS2 game.

    • 3

Click on "Advanced" or "File." Select the option that is titled "Split ISO" or "Split to Multiple Volumes." Select the size you wish to split the ISO PS2 game to based on the disc's maximum capacity size such as 700 MB. Select the size by clicking on "Volume Size" and click "OK."

    • 4

Click "Save" to save the split ISO PS2 games. You can now transfer the split files to two separate discs for play on the PS2.
