How to Connect Two PlayStation 2s

One of the most popular avenues for local multiplayer gaming consists of connecting consoles via Ethernet cable. This is not the case, however, for the PlayStation 2. Instead, you can connect two PS2s together using an iLink cable. This allows you and friends to network two PS2s in order to compete against each other in multiplayer games.

     Turn off the two PS2 systems.

     Locate the "S400" jack on the rear of both PS2s.

     Plug one end of the iLink cable into one of the PS2s.

     Plug the other end of the iLink cable into the other PS2.
