How to Get Character Names in NCAA: Football 08 for the PS2

Generating Names

  Scroll down to the "My NCAA" menu and click the appropriate button to enter the menu.

  Highlight the "Auto Name" option and press the "X" button to select it. When prompted by a small pop-up menu, press the "Yes" button to have the game assign random names to your college rosters. Due to the number of teams, this process can take a few moments. When it is complete the game will take you back to the "My NCAA" menu.

  Open the "Save/Load" menu and use the "L1" and "R1" buttons to navigate to the "Rosters" screen. Save your roster as "ROSTER." Every time the game loads afterwards these custom rosters will load automatically.

Edit Individual Players

  Highlight "Roster" and press the "X" button to go in to the "Dynasty" menu.

  Select the player you want to edit and press "X" to bring up the options submenu.

  Scroll down to "Edit Player" and press "X."

  Select the "First Name" option and type in the name of your choosing. Press "O" to back out of the keyboard menu while saving the new name. Repeat this for the "Last Name" option.
