How to Convert a PS2 Dual Shock to a PC USB

The Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) is a sixth generation home gaming system that makes use of a special PS2 controller that allows the player to play all of the console's games. If you wish to connect your PS2 controller to a personal computer, you must convert the signal from your PS2 controller into a USB signal.   Connect your PS2 controller's connector to the controller port on your PS2 controller adapter.

  Connect the USB end of this adapter to an available USB port on your PC.

  Click the hardware bubble that appears on your desktop when the computer recognizes the controller. This will open the "Add Hardware Wizard."

  Select the "Next" button in the Add Hardware Wizard. The computer will now adjust itself to accept your PS2 controller.
