Select a song to play from the "Guitar Hero: World Tour" track list.
Choose "Drums" from the instrument selection list.
Build your star power meter. As you play through the song, a number of sequences with star-shaped notes will appear. Hit all the star-shaped notes in the sequence to increase your star power. Once your meter is full, a sound will indicate that star power is ready for use.
Hit both the orange and yellow cymbals on the drum kit at the same time to activate star power. While star power is activated, your score multiplier doubles. This gives you the chance to rack up a lot of points if you can avoid missing notes.
