How to Troubleshoot the Tomb Raider Anniversary Install Setup

Tomb Raider Anniversary is the eighth game in the popular Tomb Raider series. The game operates on Windows PCs as well as the Playstation 2, Wii, XBox 360 and Playstation Portable. Tomb Raider Anniversary follows Lara Croft in her quest for an ancient Peruvian artifact called the Scion. Some users encounter problems installing the game on their PC.

  Check to see if you are signed to your operating system in as an administrator. If you are not, log in as an administrator and try the installation again.

  Download the most recent video drivers from the Nvidia website. Restart your computer and try the installation again.

  Insert the CD into your CD drive. If the installation process does not begin, skip to Step 4. If the installation process begins, continue through the steps until you see a box labeled "Autoplay." Ensure this box does not have a check mark in it. Continue with the installation.

  Click the "Start" menu and put your cursor in the "Search programs and files" box. Type "setup.exe" and wait for the installation to begin. Continue through the steps until you see a box labeled "Autoplay." Ensure this box does not have a check mark in it. Continue with the installation.
