Jump down the platforms at the start of the level and travel until you reach the Typhon's fingertips blocking the path. Use standard attacks (press the "O" and triangle buttons) to lift the finger enough to sneak past.
Travel along the cliffs and pathways until you reach the outdoors. Along the way, you must fight imps and a new enemy, the minotaur.
Speak to Prometheus. Find him chained to one of the fingers of a giant stone hand protruding from the mountain side. After talking to him, attack him to end his misery. He will fall from the fingers, but will hang above a fiery pit below, still alive.
Travel away from Prometheus into unexplored territory. Look for a wall you can climb that leads to a cave at the top. Battle your way through the cave until you reach an open cavern with Typhon looming in the distance.
Move through the cavern, but stay behind rock pillars to dodge Typhon's breath. Only move between Typhon's breaths. Eventually, you will reach a platform right in front of Typhon.
Wait for the "R1" prompt to appear on screen and press the button. Kratos will pull himself toward Typhon and pluck out a weapon from the titan's eye. This weapon, "Typhon's Bane," is a magic bow. Use the bow to attack Typhon's eyes and the titan will soon cease his attacks.
Return to Prometheus. Shoot the rope binding Prometheus to drop him into the fire pit. He will give you a new special attack called "Rage of the Titans."
Return to Pegasus beneath Typhon's hand. Press "L3" and "R3" at the same time to activate the "Rage" attack. The titan will lift his hand and free Pegasus.
