PlayStation 2 - Racing
Use either the left stick or directional buttons to move left, right, up or down. "Triangle" reverses direction and skips conversation between the player and opponents. Press "Circle" to talk. "X" accelerates the car and fast-forwards through conversation. Push "Square" to brake the car. Push "L1" to use power-ups and "L2' to look behind the driver. Push "R1" to use Brick Boost.
PlayStation 2 - Building Cars
Push "X" to select brick and brick category, and "Triangle" to cancel a selection and/or category. Push "L1" to rotate selected brick counter-clockwise and "R1" to rotate it clockwise. Push "L2" to select a previously placed brick and "R2" to select the next placed brick. Use the directional buttons to cycle through bricks in the selecting menu and to move bricks.
Game Boy Advance
The GBA version does not allow players to design their own race cars. Use the control pad to steer the car left and right. The "A" button accelerates, while "B" brakes. Push the "L" button to use power-ups. The "R" button power-slides the car. Pause play by pushing the "Start/Pause" button.
