How to Add an HDD to My PS2

In order to connect a HDD (hard disk drive) to a Playstation 2 (PS2), you need the PS2 network adapter. The PS2 network adapter has connectors that join the hard drive to the PS2, and allows the PS2 to recognize that a hard drive has been installed. There are two versions of the Playstation 2, the original version and the slim version. You can only add the network adapter and hard drive to the original version. The slim version does not have an expansion port for the hard drive.
