LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures
LucasArts released the adventure video game "LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures" for PlayStation 2 and a whole host of other platforms in June 2008. Developed by Traveller's Tales, the game is rated suitable for players 10 and older. "The Original Adventures" retells the stories presented in the first three "Indiana Jones" movies, though all of the characters are made to resemble LEGO toys. Players are given multiple weapons, including Indiana Jones's whip.
LEGO Soccer Mania
LEGO Media released the sports game "LEGO Soccer Mania" for the PC and Game Boy Advance platforms as well as the PlayStation 2 in June 2002. Rated acceptable for all gamers, "LEGO Soccer Mania" was made by Silicon Dreams. The game challenges players to compete in soccer matches using characters designed to look like LEGO toys. Between one and four players can participate, and soccer teams never get larger than four players. Special abilities are gained by collecting random icons that appear on the field.
LEGO Star Wars
Eidos Interactive released the action game "LEGO Star Wars" for a variety of platforms including the PlayStation 2 in April 2005. Also made by Traveller's Tales, "LEGO Star Wars" is rated suitable for all. All of the action in "The Phantom Menace," "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith" is simulated using LEGO toy characters. To get past levels, players must defeat opponents and solve riddles that crop up along the way.
LEGO Racers 2
LEGO Media released the driving game "LEGO Racers 2" for PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance and PC in September 2001. The game was developed by Attention to Detail and is rated appropriate for players of any age. In "LEGO Racers 2," the main character sets out to compete in a race against a famous driver. To get to that point, players must compete in smaller challenges and events while honing their skills.
