How to Connect a USB Microphone to Guitar Hero on PlayStation 2

The "Guitar Hero" game for the PlayStation 2 requires the use of a microphone. Fortunately, Sony designed the PlayStation 2 with USB ports that accept "plug-and play" peripheral devices, which makes setting up a USB microphone on the console quite simple.

      Power off the PlayStation 2 console.

      Insert the microphone's USB connector into an empty USB port on the PlayStation 2 console (the ports are located on the front of the console).

      Power on the PlayStation 2 console and place your "Guitar Hero" game disc inside.

      Choose "Vocal" on the main menu when the game asks you which instrument you want to use. Sing into the microphone during the game.
