How to Sync Guitar Hero 3 with the PlayStation 2

"Guitar Hero 3" is a rhythm-based music game that lets you simulate playing in a band by using the included guitar peripheral. The PlayStation 2 version of "Guitar Hero 3" includes a wireless guitar and a wireless receiver. The receiver must be connected so that you can sync the guitar with the PS2. The guitar will not work with the PS2's USB ports.

     Turn off the PS2. Connect the wireless receiver into the "Player 1" controller port. Turn on the PS2.

     Press the red fret button on the guitar to turn it on.

     Press and hold the sync button on the wireless receiver for three seconds.

     Press the red fret button to synchronize the guitar to the PS2.
