How to Make a Game CD for a PS2 Using an ISO File

The Sony PlayStation 2 is a home video game console that uses DVDs as its gaming medium. These DVD games can be backed up onto computers as ISO files. ISO files are digital copies of optical discs like a DVD. After the ISO is created, the file needs to be burned to a blank DVD. This can be done with quite a few programs, but some do it better than others.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the blank DVD into your computer's optical disc drive. Install Imgburn, Nero or CDBurnerXP (see Resources).

    • 2

Open Imgburn and click "Write image file to disc" from the main Imgburn window that appears. Click the "Source" button and a new explorer window will open. Select your ISO file and click "OK." Click the green arrow at the bottom of the main window to burn the ISO to the disc.

    • 3

Open Nero and click "Data Burning" from the main menu. Click the "Add" button and click your ISO file form the window that appears. Click "OK" and "Burn" to burn the ISO to the DVD.

    • 4

Open CDBurnerXP and click "Burn ISO image." Click the "Tridot" button and a new window will appear. Click your ISO file and click "OK." Click "Finalize Disc" and "Disc at Once." Click the "Burn Disc" button to burn the ISO image to the DVD.
