How to Get an Embroidered Tippet

Steal or Defeat a Coerul

  Travel to the Tchita Uplands or Golmore Jungle. The Tchita Uplands is east of Phon Coast, north of Cerobi Steppe and south of Sochen Cove Palace. The Golmore Jungle is south of Eruyt Village and north of the Paramina Rift.

  Defeat a Coeurl. A Coeurl is a catlike monster that summons magical powers. Walk around the uplands or the jungle, locate a Coeurl and defeat it to obtain an embroidered tippet. Use ice magic such as, blizzard and blizzara to defeat the Coerul more easily.

  Steal from the Coeurl. The steal technique can be bought at Rabanaster for 1600 gil. Access your license board through the main menu to obtain the ability to use steal. Locate a Coeurl and attempt to steal an embroidered tippet.

Purchase the Embroidered Tippet

  Travel to Old Archades, which is north of Archades and left of Sochen Cave Palace.

  Go up to the stranded merchant. Press the "X" button to access the merchant's wares. Click on the "Buy" option.

  Scroll through the purchasable items and highlight the Embroidered Tippet. Press the "X" button to purchase the tippet for 5,000 gil. (See Reference 5)

Find the Embroidered Tippet

  Travel to Mosphoran Highwaste. The Highwaste is located north of the Estersands and south of The Salikawood.

  Access the marketplace in the middle of the Highwaste and purchase a chocobo. A chocobo is a yellow bird that you can ride and access areas that are untraveled by walking.

  Ride onto the giant rock in the middle of the Highwaste and knock down the weathering rock. Click on the "Shrine of the West Wind," near the rock.

  Break the treasure pot near the west wind stone, by pressing the "X" button. The pot has an embroidered tippet.
