"Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection"
Crave Entertainment released "Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection" for the PlayStation 2 console in November 2004. Developed by Far Sight Studios, "The Gottlieb Collection" is playable by one to four players. Gamers can play on pinball tables that resemble real-life machines from different time periods, such as Ace High and Tee'd Off. The number of paddles that players have control over depends on which table they choose to play on, and the obstacles are also variable.
"Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection"
Crave Entertainment and Far Sight Studios teamed up again to release "Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection" in February 2008. The game was also released for Sony's PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable, and it is rated suitable for players age 10 and over. All of the pinball machines featured in the second edition of "Pinball Hall of Fame" are real tables made by the Williams company, including Whirlwind, Funhouse and Space Shuttle. The game also features sound effects that emulate actual pinball tables.
"Adventure Pinball: Forgotten Island"
Electronic Arts released "Adventure Pinball: Forgotten Island" for PlayStation 2, PC, and Microsoft Xbox in November 2001. The game was developed by Digital Eclipse Software and is rated acceptable for gamers of all ages. In "Adventure Pinball," players must win pinball games and earn high scores to release prehistoric animals from a habitat. Each table is set up as a level, so players must conquer a table in order to get to the next one in the series.
"Flipnic Ultimate Pinball"
Capcom released "Flipnic Ultimate Pinball" exclusively for the PlayStation 2 system in July 2005. Suitable for players 6 and older, "Flipnic Ultimate Pinball" is playable alone or with one other player. Rather than present traditional pinball tables, the game lets players hit the pinballs into alternate areas to gain points in a different way. Many of the alternate areas give players a chance to play other types of side games before entering back into pinball.
