Sonic the Hedgehog is a small, blue video game character created by Sega in the 1990s. Sonic is featured in many different early Sega games, and Sega later allowed other companies to make games involving the character. Sonic games were originally created as action and adventure titles, though many new games featuring the hedgehog fit into different genres. Multiple video games featuring Sonic the Hedgehog have been released for Sony's PlayStation 2 console.

"Sonic Mega Collection Plus" is acceptable for gamers of all ages and features Sonic and other characters from the franchise. "Sonic Mega Collection Plus" gives players a chance to relive classic Sonic games, as many old Sega titles are all combined on one disc. Players can choose which game they want to play and switch between titles if they want.
