How to Connect a PS2 Through a Wireless Computer

Wireless networks are being used in businesses and homes to connect several computers and devices to one network. Connect the PS2 device to a computer with a wireless connection, such as a laptop, for easy access. Create a network bridge in your computer network to allow the PS2 device to connect to the Internet.

  Use the wireless connection on the computer to access the Internet on the PS2 device. Plug the Ethernet cable in the Ethernet port on the PS2 device, and connect it to the computer with wireless connection. Press the power button on the PS2 device and look for the power switch to turn from red to green.

  Turn on the power to the computer with the wireless connection. Go to the Start menu and click "Control Panel." Select "Network Connections" to view the Internet connections on the computer. Click the wireless connection on the computer and hold the "Ctrl" key and click to select "Local Area Networks" at the same time.

  Connect the PS2 on the Local Area Network to the wireless connection on the computer. Right-click on one of the highlighted connections and choose the "Bridge Network" option. Complete the Network Bridge by clicking "OK." Test the connection between the PS2 device and the wireless connection on the computer.
