How to Play Online with a PlayStation 2

Connecting your PlayStation 2 console to the Internet offers added features and options for compatible games. Online play may offer downloadable content for added game play or customization of the game experience. It also offers the opportunity for competitive play that puts the player up against other players instead of the computer. Before you can access those features, however, the PlayStation 2 must connect to the Internet.
