How Do I Connect My PS2 to a Cable Modem?

Depending on which model of the Sony PlayStation 2 you&'re using, how you connect your PS2 to the Internet will vary. If you&'re using one of the original bulky PS2 models, you will need to use the official network adapter to get the PS2 online. If you&'re using a PlayStation 2 Slim, you do not need a network adapter, as this model includes a built-in Ethernet port. Most cable modems are supported; however, not all USB-based modems may work. Once connected, you can take advantage of the PS2 games and utilities that still feature online components.
