Things You'll Need
Instructions
Connect the yellow, red and white plugs on one end of the composite cable to the color-matched jacks on the PlayStation2.
Check the computer monitor ports on the back panel to see what's available. A round S-video port with four holes in the center requires a composite to S-video adapter, available at electronics and computer stores. A four-sided VGA port with 15 holes will need a composite-to-VGA adapter.
Connect the yellow video plug on the composite cable from the PS2 to either the composite socket on an S-video adapter or the composite socket on a VGA adapter.
Attach either the S-video plug or the VGA plus on the other side of the adapter to the matching port on the back of the computer monitor. Line up the metal pins inside the plug with the holes in the port. With a VGA connection, tighten the bolt clockwise on each side of the plug to secure it to the port.
Connect the white and red plugs on the composite cable from the PS2 to the two 1/4-inch jacks on the Y-adapter.
Plug the cord from the right speaker into the 3.5mm jack on the Y-adapter.
Plug the cord from the left speaker to the Audio OUT jack on the back of the right speaker, then connect the DC power plug to the electrical socket on the right speaker and plug the other end into a wall outlet.
Plug in the power cords for the PS2 and the computer monitor, then turn on all the equipment.
