How to Connect a Les Paul Kramer Wireless Controller to a PS2

The Guitar Hero games for PlayStation 2 and 3 (as well as other consoles) have demonstrated the crossover potential between video games and rock music. Big-name guitar manufacturers have lent their names and guitar designs to controllers, and one of the guitars to be licensed is the Les Paul Kramer--released with the Legends of Rock version of Guitar Hero. The Les Paul controller can easily be connected to the PlayStation 2 console using its USB dongle.

Instructions

  Turn off your PlayStation 2 and remove all controllers. Insert two AA batteries into the battery compartment of your Les Paul Kramer controller.

  Insert the guitar's wireless dongle into the port on the front of your PlayStation 2.

  Turn on your PlayStation 2. Press the "Red" button on your guitar and hold the "Sync" button on the dongle for three seconds, then press the "Red" button again.

  Press the PlayStation 2's "Eject" button and insert a "Guitar Hero" game disc. Press "Reset" to launch the game and play with your Kramer controller.
