How to Fix a Corrupted File on a PS2 Memory Card

If Sony PlayStation 2 memory cards are used often, corrupted files become prominent. Even whole memory cards sometimes become corrupt. Removing a card while a file is being saved is the most common way a file corrupts, but not the only way. A file may also get corrupted if the card is left out in extreme heat or if a power surge runs through the system. The files are deletable, which can free up space on the card.
