How to Fix PS2 Game Systems

The Sony PlayStation 2 gaming console is a much older video game system and more susceptible to malfunctions due to the older hardware it utilizes. Symptoms can include browser screen freezes, disc read errors, long load times and the system not recognizing that there is a game in the disc drive at all. These malfunctions can be caused by a buildup of foreign objects and debris inside of the system, and you may be able to fix your problem by opening the console's plastic cover and carefully cleaning it out.
