How to Unlock Vergil on Devil May Cry 3

The "Devil May Cry" series tells the story of Dante, a half-human, half-demon fighter trying to save the world from various forces of evil --the same forces that his father, Sparda, defeated centuries ago. The games are known for a complex storyline and fast-paced action gameplay. In the third installment, Dante goes up against his evil twin brother Vergil. In the special edition you can unlock a story mode where you can play as Vergil.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the game on any difficulty level until you complete the main story mode.

  Return to the main menu. You will find the option for Vergil Story Mode unlocked. You can now play through the game as Vergil instead of Dante.

  Play through Vergil mode on the "Easy" difficulty to unlock Vergil's coatless costume.

  Play through Vergil mode on the "Hard" setting and you will unlock another costume, Corrupted Vergil.

  Finish the Bloody Palace mode, and you will unlock Super Vergil. He is the same character, but with an unlimited Devil Trigger gauge. Devil Trigger is one of the demon characters' abilities, which allows them to reveal their darker side and power up, cause damage to foes and interrupt enemy attacks.

  Clear Vergil Must Die mode to unlock Super Corrupt Vergil, who looks like Corrupt Vergil with the unlimited Devil Trigger.
