How to Format a Max Memory Card for PS2

In order to save game data on a PlayStation 2 console, you must have a working memory card inserted into one of the two slots on the front of the machine. Third-party memory cards like the Max memory card are compatible with PS2 systems, but they usually come unformatted. Before you can start using a Max memory card, you must format it from the main PS2 menu.
