How to Use an XBox Controller on a PS2

While it may seem counterintuitive, it is possible to use an original Xbox controller as a PS2 controller. In response to the large number of inquiries from gamers who preferred the big controls of the Xbox controller, Mayflash developed the XP Joy Box--an adapter specifically designed to allow Xbox controllers to be used with the PS2 system. As of 2010, the Joy Box is the only gaming peripheral that can accomplish this task.

• Xbox controller
• USB Xbox controller cord
• XP Joy Box

     Plug the PS2-connector end of the Joy Box into a PS2 controller port.

     Connect the Xbox USB controller cable to the Xbox controller.

     Plug the USB end of the Xbox controller cable into the USB port on the Joy Box.

     Turn on the PS2. You will now be able to use the Xbox controller as if it were a PS2 controller.
