Hard Drive Connection
Turn off your Sony PlayStation 2 and wait for it to boot down all the way. Remove all power cables from the console.
Locate the expansion-bay on the rear of the device. This is where your hard drive is stored. Use the flat head screwdriver to remove the two screws.
Slide the expansion pack out of the PS2. The hard drive will be connected to the expansion pack. Grab the hard drive, and firmly pull on the entire drive to remove it from the expansion pack.
Slide the hard drive into your hard drive cradle and connect the the cradle to the computer using your USB/firewire cable. Your PS2 is now connected to your computer.
PS2 Connection to Computer
Turn off your Sony PlayStation 2 and disconnect it from your television.
Turn on your computer and insert your PC card TV tuner into the PC USB port or the express card slot. Your computer will install the necessary drivers in order to use the tuner card.
Connect your PS2 audio/visual cables to the TV tuner card. The cables will be color coded with the yellow cable being the video and the red/white cables being the audio. Plug the PS2 power cable into an available outlet.
Turn on the PS2 by pressing the power button and your PS2 will turn on. Open your TV tuner application that was installed when you inserted the tuner card and click "TV." You will now see the PlayStation2 welcome screen. Your PS2 is now connected and playable on the computer.
