How Can I Make My PlayStation 2 Games Run Faster?

The PlayStation 2 (PS2) is a home video game console developed by Sony. Making its debut in 2000, the PS2 has hundreds of games in its arsenal. Some of the PS2 games are much larger than others in terms of graphics, level size and number of enemies on the screen at once. When this is the case, there is a much larger load time necessary, which is especially true of online games such as "Final Fantasy XI." To combat this, Sony released an add-on internal hard drive dubbed the HDD. Allowing you to download certain games onto the hard drive, the HDD dramatically cuts down on the large load times.
