True Crime Streets of LA: How to Arrest

̶0;True Crime: Streets of LA̶1; is an action and adventure game for the PC, PlayStation 2 (PS2), Xbox and GameCube video game consoles. It features a mix of gameplay and slow-motion action cut-scenes inspired by Hong Kong action films. In the game, you control a cop who has an unconventional style when it comes to law enforcement. The game has 20 missions and 100 sub-missions in which you can freely roam through a simulated Los Angeles and arrest criminals.

Instructions

  Start the game with the first mission and watch the cut-scenes that follow.

  When gameplay begins, move your character with the analog stick on your controller. Walk up to any character committing a crime to frisk him.

  To show your badge in the Xbox version, press the ̶0;X̶1; button and left thumb stick at the same time; in the PS2 version, hold the ̶0;R2̶1; button and press the ̶0;Square̶1; button at the same time; and in the GameCube version, press only the "X" button.

  Continue to frisk the person in the Xbox version by pressing the ̶0;Left Trigger̶1; button; in the PS2 version by pressing the ̶0;Square̶1; button; and in the GameCube version by pressing the ̶0;X̶1; button again.

  Arrest the criminal if she has any illegal items. In the Xbox version, press the ̶0;B̶1; button and the left thumb stick at the same time; in the PS2 version, hold the ̶0;R2̶1; button and press the ̶0;Circle̶1; button; and in the GameCube version, hold the ̶0;Z̶1; button and press the ̶0;X̶1; button. Be careful, as some criminals may resist arrest.

  To enter gun mode in the Xbox version, press the ̶0;Left̶1; button on the directional pad; in the PS2 version, press the ̶0;R1̶1; button; and in the GameCube version, press the ̶0;R̶1; button.

  Shoot your gun at the criminal in the Xbox version by pressing the ̶0;Right Trigger̶1; button; in the PS2 version by pressing the ̶0;R1̶1; button; and in the GameCube version by pressing the ̶0;R̶1; button.
