How to Restore a Saved Game on a PS2 Memory Card

  Turn on your PS2. Make sure your TV is turned to the proper input and the cables securely fastened.

  Insert your memory card into one of the slots designed for the memory cards. These slots are in the front of the PS2. If you have more than one memory card, make sure you plug in the one with your saved game. There should be more than one slot for memory cards, so you can plug multiple ones in if you cannot remember the right memory card.

  Insert the game you want to play. Make sure there isn't a game already in the console and that you insert the CD in the proper direction.

  Find the "saved game" settings on the games menu. Games will vary on where to find this setting. Consult the games manual for specific location. This will take you to a list of saved games on the memory card(s).

  Find the specific game you want to restore on the memory card and load the game. You should now be able to start the game where you left off.
