The Urbz Sims in the City PS2 Cheats

"The Urbz: Sims in the City" is the third release of "The Sims" gaming series for the PlayStation 2 console. The game plays similarly to its PC "The Sims" counterparts, in which you control your character in a virtual world. But in "The Urbz" you must travel to nine districts to build the reputation of the characters, which will enable them to access bigger apartment complexes and other districts. While the game is fun, it can be very challenging. But like all "The Sims" games, cheat codes are available to give you the helpful boost you need to win the game.
  1. The Cheat Gnome

    • You must enable the Cheat Gnome first before you apply any codes, or else they will not work. Simply press "Circle," "L1," "L2," "R2," and "R1" to activate the Cheat Gnome.

    Skill Cheats

    • Once you have the Cheat Gnome active, enter any of the following three codes to boost up your skill levels to the max, which will help you progress through job levels. Press "L1," "R1," "Down," "X" and "L3" to have maximum physical skill. For maximum mental skill, press "L1," "R2," "X," "Circle," and then "Up." Finally, to have maximum artistic skill, press "L3," "R3," "R1," "R2" and "Circle."

    Unlock Socials and Districts

    • To unlock all the socials, conversation commands used to interact with other Urbz, in the game after you have set up the Cheat Gnome, simply press "L2," "R2," "Up," "Triangle," "L3," and "X." Then to unlock all the districts in the game, press "R2," "L2," "Left," "Right," "Left," "R3," and then "Triangle."

    Skill Object, Power Socials and Motives

    • To get a skill object, which helps you get through job levels, after activating the Cheat Gnome, press "L1," "R2," "Right," "Square" and L3. To get power socials, which help you scare off criminal elements in the game, press "Triangle," "R2," "L1," "X" and "Square." Finally, to raise the motives of your character at any time, press "R2," "L1," "R1," "L2," "Left," and then "Circle."
