How to Unlock Characters in the TNA Video Game for PS2

TNA IMPACT! is the first and only game for the Playstation 2 based on the popular professional wrestling franchise. IMPACT! features the likenesses of many real TNA wrestlers and recreates their most famous moves. You can also create your own wrestler and make your way up the TNA ladder. To unlock special characters, you'll need to complete certain challenges.

  Insert the TNA IMPACT! game disc into your Playstation 2, and power on both your PS2 and television.

  Start the game's "Story Mode." Winning matches in this mode is the primary method for unlocking additional wrestlers.

  Defeat particular wrestlers as they appear in Story Mode. Beat AJ Styles to unlock the extreme AJ Styles X wrestler. Likewise, defeat the scruffy Chris Sabin to unlock wild wrestler Chris Sabin X. During any tag team match against Team 3D, complete the match with a victory to unlock wrestler Brother Ray. You can also defeat Kevin Nash when he appears to unlock his persona, and do the same when downtrodden Abyss appears--to earn his character.

  Earn "Style Points" to unlock more characters. Style Points are earned by completing chains of combos in matches. Earn 200,000 Style Points during gameplay to unlock Senshi, who will then be available in every game mode. Go even further and get 250,000 Style Points to reveal powerful Don West, who will then become a playable character.

  Win the TNA Tag Team Title in Story Mode. Doing so will earn you Eric Young. Succeed in Story Mode's Three Man Gauntlet Match to earn the colorful Jay Lethal. Upon completing Story Mode, you'll unlock two characters: the mysterious Suicide and his extreme form Suicide X (they will then be available in all modes).
