Even if you don't own a Sony Playstation 2 console, it is possible to play its games on your computer through the use of emulation software. While most emulation software is illegal, there are a few gaming websites (Gametap, Impulse, Good Old Games) that do allow you to play these PS2 games legally. Setting it up is a simple process.

  Follow the prompts in order to register with the emulation website. It will download the client application that allows access to the games.

  Begin the client application once it has downloaded.

  Search for the available Playstation 2 games on the client application. Select the ones you would like to play in order to begin the download process.

  Follow the prompts to download the game. Downloads could take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the game and your connection.
