Select your starting roster for the game. Sort through your teams stats and look for the "3PT" column. The higher the number listed in the column for each player, the better that player is at making three-point shots.
Begin game play. Gain possession of the ball, using "X" to pass between players on your team.
Stand outside the three-point arc. It's the large semi-circle on both sides of the court.
Set your shot. It's much easier to make a three-pointer when two conditions are met. First, standing still rather than running while taking your shot will increase your accuracy. Second, having space to take your shot rather than having a defender in your face will also increase the likelihood of your shot going in.
Hold "Circle" to jump in preparation for shooting. Release "Circle" at the top of your jump to release the ball. Releasing the shot at the top of your jump increases your accuracy as well.
