How to Find My Default Router for PS2

The PlayStation 2 Network Adapter allows you to connect your PS2 to the Internet so you can play games online. To do this, you need to install the Network Adapter and set it up to connect to your internet. The setup will ask you for your network's default router address. Find your default router address through the command window on your computer.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the "Start" button on the task tray and select "Run."

    • 2

Type "cmd" in the Run menu dialog box, and click "OK".

    • 3

Type "ipconfig/all" and press enter in the command window. This will bring up a list of your current connection addresses. The Default Gateway is your default router address. Copy down that number and enter it in your PS2 network setup.
