How to Recalibrate a Logitech Wireless Control for the PS2

While your Logitech wireless controller for the PlayStation 2 typically has no need for recalibration, there might come a time when you notice your analog sticks acting up. If your character moves without you touching either analog stick or you find other issues with the controller, recalibration could remedy the issue. Recalibration of your Logitech Cordless Action Controller is easy to do and only takes a few seconds.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the battery panel on the controller and remove one battery.

    • 2

Hold the L1 and L2 buttons on the top of the controller.

    • 3

Reinsert the battery into the controller while holding the L1 and L2 buttons, making sure the analog sticks are centered. If the analog sticks are moved during the recalibration process then start over.

    • 4

Place the battery cover back onto the controller.
