How Do You Unlock Paint Schemes for NASCAR 08 for the PS2?

"NASCAR 08" is EA Sports NASCAR simulator that came out in July 2007 and is the 11th installment in the series. While the game lacks any significant improvements from earlier releases, it still provides a comprehensive NASCAR racing experience that allows players to take control of a driver in one of the many NASCAR racing series and fight for a championship. The game also features three hidden paint schemes that can be unlocked by entering secret codes.

Chase Mode Paint Scheme
- To unlock the Chase Mode paint schemes, go to the Earn Your Stripes Mode from the main menu. You will be presented with a dialog box that asks for a first and last name. Enter "Checkered" as the first name and "Flag" as the last name; the text is case sensitive. This will unlock all of the Chase cars from the Chase Mode.
EA Sports Paint Scheme
- To unlock the EA Sports paint scheme, go to the Earn Your Stripes Mode from the main menu. Enter "EASports" as the first name and "Car" as the last name; the text is case sensitive. This will unlock the custom EA Sports stock car paint scheme.
Wal-Mart Paint Scheme
- To unlock the Wal-Mart paint scheme, go to the Earn Your Stripes Mode from the main menu. Enter "Walmart" as the first name and "EveryDay" as the last name; the text is case sensitive. This will unlock the special-edition Wal-Mart stock car paint scheme.
