Plug the PlayStation 2 memory card into a USB adapter. The adapter has a rectangular port connected to a USB cable. Although this device is not often found in stores, there are many locations on the Web that sell the product.
Plug the USB cable into an available USB port on your computer. In a moment, the computer will state it has detected new hardware connected.
Open "My Computer" (also referred to as "Computer" in some versions of Windows) and double-click the removable disk icon. This will display all the content saved on the disk. The saved game information is not going to function on your computer; however, you can remove the files by selecting them and pressing "Delete."
Drag any files you want to save on the PlayStation 2 memory card. This should be limited to word files. However, you can save some music files. Video files are most likely going to be too large.
Close out the removable disk window. Right-click the icon and select "Eject." In a moment the icon will disappear. You can now remove the memory card and connect it to other computers.
